Every business and organisation is complex, and is navigating increasingly complex worlds. There can be value in obtaining an external perspective, for the objectivity and experience that can provide.

Working at Board level in a leading national law firm I have been responsible for managing operational leads and overseeing all partner matters, including recruitment, promotions, appraisals, remuneration, strategic planning and retirement. I have led governance reviews, culture and leadership programmes. I have developed new business lines to market leading status, and delivered change programmes achieving high growth and profitability.

Working in a social purpose organisation I have particular experience in managing the tensions between commercial and purpose outcomes, and the interplay between performance and values.

I can help organisations develop models to improve the effectiveness of their business, and provide external wisdom, support and challenge for any business initiatives they are undertaking. I take the same approach to consultancy as I do all my services. I seek a deep understanding of the challenges, the strategic outcomes my client is trying to achieve, and then apply all my skills, experience and energy to help my client achieve them.
